My Conclusion was originally created in 2004 as an unofficial voice for members of the Family International to “set the record straight” on issues that have been at the heart of controversy from earlier periods of its history (the late 1970s to mid ‘80s). Although, the controversies of the past have been long addressed both publicly and internally, the movement has continued to be the subject of stigmatizing press coverage for the past three decades. Its members have often found themselves without a voice in the public discourse. They developed this space to share their side of the story.
My Conclusion has hosted thousands of postings since 2004, most of which have been retired since the Family International’s restructuring as an online network in 2010.
